This carved cross-stone carries the name of Davit the priest and is known locally as the 1569 khachkar. It stands on the eastern side of the Mayr Ator (Mother See) in central Vagharshapat.
The monument holds official status, entered under registration number 4.2/14.1.23 in Armenia's state list of immovable history and culture monuments.
The khachkar sits in Vagharshapat, Armavir region, about 19 km west of Yerevan in a straight line.
