Abac Kids - Hrazdan

Abac Kids in Hrazdan is a branch of the Abac Academy network, which offers children's classes in mental arithmetic — calculation done by visualizing an abacus. The method was brought to Armenia in 2016 by Narine Balayan and Diana Hovhannisyan, starting from a center on Demirchyan Street, and has since grown into a network of branches inside and outside the country.

The academy runs an annual competition for its students, ABAC, with regional and international participation reported in past editions from Georgia, Cyprus, the US and several European countries, plus online entrants. The Hrazdan branch operates under this same academy structure, teaching the method locally to school-age children.

The center is in the town of Hrazdan, in Kotayk region, roughly 46 km north-northeast of Yerevan as the crow flies.
