Abakus Center

Abakus Center runs courses for children ages 4 to 12 built around mental arithmetic (calculation using an abacus, done in the head) and what it calls neuromathematics — exercises aimed at attention, memory and logical thinking. The center says it has been teaching under this method since 2015, as part of a wider international school network.

Courses on offer include neuromathematics for younger children, school-preparation classes, and reading instruction alongside the arithmetic program. The center is directed by Ani Vanyan.

It operates Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 11:30 to 18:00.

The center sits in Yerevan, about 1 km west-southwest of the city center (straight-line).
