Aghasu

Aghasu is a hot spring in Armenia's Ararat region, its heat the one fact that sets it apart from an ordinary water source in this landscape. Beyond that, the record is thin: no development, no history attached to the name, nothing on depth, flow, or mineral content.

What exists is a located point with a fixed set of coordinates — enough to place it on a map, not enough to say much else about it.

Aghasu lies in Ararat marz, ~53 km east-southeast of Yerevan (straight-line).
