Alagollar Lake is a freshwater lake of volcanic origin. It lies directly on the boundary between Armenia's Syunik region and the Lachin district of Azerbaijan.
That border position is the main thing recorded about it — there's little else documented about the lake's size, depth, or access.
The lake sits in Syunik region, roughly 137 km east-southeast of Yerevan as the crow flies, right at the edge with Azerbaijan's Lachin district.
