Altmed

Altmed is a medical center in Yerevan, founded in 2000, built around a mix of rehabilitative, preventive and traditional medicine. It holds medical licenses and says it works to World Health Organization guidance alongside international and national treatment protocols.

Vahan M. Avagyan heads the center, founded by Mkrtich N. Avagyan. Alongside general therapy, Altmed runs a set of self-screening tools on its site — a scoliosis check, a hospital anxiety and depression scale, a vitamin B1 deficiency questionnaire, and an osteoporosis risk assessment — aimed at patients trying to get a clearer read on symptoms before a visit.
