Ananun Syunadzev Bazaltner

Ananun ("unnamed") columnar basalts sit on the left bank of the Hrazdan gorge in Yerevan's Kentron district, directly beneath St. Sargis (Surb Sargis) church. The formation is registered as a geological nature monument.
On November 7, 2024, construction work destroyed the northern section of the outcrop.
The site is within Yerevan's Kentron district, on the left bank of the Hrazdan gorge — about 1 km west of the city center (straight-line).
