This sculpture group commemorates Ararat-73, the Yerevan football club that won the Soviet Union championship and cup. It was installed on October 10, 2016, beside Hrazdan Stadium in Yerevan.
It marks the club's titles rather than any single match or player, giving Yerevan a fixed public reference point for that era of the team's history.
The sculpture stands in Yerevan itself, next to Hrazdan Stadium — about 2 km west of the city center (straight-line).
