Aregin
Арегин · Արեգին
Aregin is a mountain peak in Armenia's Gegharkunik region, part of the Vardenis mountain range. It stands 2,842 meters high, on the right bank of the Vardenis river, about 8 km southeast of the village of Vardenik.
There's little more on record about Aregin beyond its location and elevation — it's a marked point on the ridge rather than a developed site.
Aregin sits in Gegharkunik region, roughly 83 km east of Yerevan as the crow flies, near the village of Vardenik, in the Vardenis mountain range.
As a mountain peak above 2,800 m, conditions vary sharply by season — snow cover should be expected outside the warmer months.
