Arjanots
Арджаноц · Արջանոց
Arjanots rises to 2,385 meters in the Arjanots mountain range, about 1 km north of Sevan town's Gomadzor district and roughly 4 km west of the Lake Sevan shoreline, on the lake's southwestern side.
Its slopes are covered with hay meadows and subalpine pastures rather than forest or bare rock, typical of the grazing land common to this stretch of the Gegharkunik uplands.
The peak sits in Gegharkunik region, just north of Sevan town, on the southwestern side of Lake Sevan, about 57 km northeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
The pastures on its slopes are used for grazing and hay-cutting through the warmer months, so the mountain looks greenest from late spring into summer.
