Armat I Avshar Engineering Workshop

Armat I Avshar Engineering Workshop is a student engineering lab based in the village of Avshar, in Ararat region. It operates as part of the Armath network, which describes its workshops as spaces where teenagers work through hands-on engineering and programming problems.

The workshop takes part in DigiCode, a programming competition running since 2015 with three categories: virtual laboratory, computer games, and device integration using Python or C++. Armath also organizes KTurtle and Python olympiads to test algorithmic problem-solving.

Since 2016 the network has also run an engineering design and modeling competition, checking students' skills in 3D modeling, 3D printing, and CNC machine use.

The workshop is in Avshar, Ararat region, roughly 39 km south-southeast of Yerevan as the crow flies.
