Центр инновационного экспериментального искусства · Նորարար փորձառական արվեստի կենտրոն
The Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art, abbreviated NPAK for its Armenian name meaning "Innovative Experimental Art Center," was founded in 1992 in Yerevan. It operates as a non-governmental organization, framed as an experimental and public space meant to help artists exchange experience and shape Armenia's artistic and cultural environment.
Edward Balassanian, an architect and city planner by training, co-founded the center. He died in New York in 2024 at the age of 88.
The center is in Yerevan, roughly 1 km west-northwest of the city center (straight-line).
