Armenian Mountaineering and Hiking Federation

The Armenian Mountaineering and Hiking Federation has operated since February 2011, with the stated aim of building up mountaineering, mountain tourism and a climbing culture in Armenia. It's a federation office rather than a trailhead or a summit — the place to contact if you're after routes, clubs or organized mountain activity in the country.
The federation says it has become a full member of the UIAA, the International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation. It's open daily, 10:00 to 19:00, and can be reached by phone or email for inquiries about clubs and routes.
The federation is based in Yerevan, roughly 3 km south of the city center as the crow flies.
