Arpa

Arpa is a small lake on the left bank of the Gavaraget river, set in the Gegham mountain range southwest of Lake Sevan. What sets it apart is what lies just north of it: two ferruginous (iron-rich) mineral springs, known locally as Shaghin and Altundagh.
The lake itself is modest in scale, more a landmark for the springs than a destination on its own.
Arpa is in Gegharkunik region, about 41 km east of Yerevan in a straight line.
