Artists Union of Armenia

Artists Union of Armenia has organized the country's professional painters, sculptors and art critics since 1933. Nearly 1,200 members belong to it today.

The union runs its own periodical, Arvestanoc ("art place," from arvest, meaning art), and lists exhibitions, member creative houses and staff on its site. Suren Safaryan is named as chairman. The office keeps weekday hours, 11:00 to 16:00, Monday through Friday.

This is an address within Yerevan itself rather than a separate town — the coordinates put it roughly 1 km northeast of central Yerevan, straight-line.
