"Arzni Resort"

Arzni Resort is a spa hotel built around the mineral springs of the Hrazdan river gorge, in the Arzni locality of Kotayk region. It was founded in 1969 and still runs as a treatment-focused hotel today, under managing director Ararat S. Mahtesyan.

The resort's own site describes the main treatment as carbonate, sodium-chloride carbonate water, delivered through mineral water baths and a range of therapies: water treatment, therapeutic exercises and massage, physiotherapy, inhalation and oxygen cocktails, paraffin, peat and clay applications, and needle treatment using a NUGA BEST device. Guests can choose between an indoor and an outdoor pool.

Rooms come in four categories — standard, standard with balcony, junior suite and family — and the resort offers meals on site along with free parking for guests. It's open Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 19:00.

Arzni Resort sits in the Arzni locality of Kotayk region, near the town of Abovyan, about 16 km north-northeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
