Bazmaghbyur

Bazmaghbyur is a village in the Ashtarak municipality of Aragatsotn province, set on the southwestern slope of Aragats at 1,850 meters. Its name in Armenian translates as "many springs."
The settlement was not always known by this name. Older records list it as Takia, Takya Tekke, and Takiya before Bazmaghbyur became the standard form.
Bazmaghbyur lies in Aragatsotn province, close to the town of Byurakan, about 24 km northwest of Yerevan as the crow flies.
