The Blue Mosque is the only mosque still active in Armenia today, an 18th-century Shia mosque built in 1765-1766 under Hoseyn Ali Khan, khan of the Erivan Khanate. You'll find it at Mashtots Avenue 12, among the oldest surviving buildings in central Yerevan.

In the 19th century it was the largest of eight mosques operating in the city. Most of those are gone now. This one held on, making it the most significant structure left from Yerevan's Iranian period.

Opening hours aren't published anywhere reliable.
