Bnakeli Tun Ishkhan Chesar Orbelyani Aparank Chesari Darpas

Chesar's Gate marks what's left of a residential building tied to Prince Chesar Orbelyan, standing in the village of Hors in Vayots Dzor. Locally it's known simply as Chesari Darpas, Chesar's gate.

Hors itself holds a cemetery dating to the 12th-14th centuries, with a large number of khachkars (carved cross-stones) still standing among the graves. The gate and the cemetery are the two things that put this village on the map for anyone tracing Vayots Dzor's older sites.

The site sits in Hors village, Vayots Dzor region, roughly 71 km east-southeast of Yerevan as the crow flies.
