Boyajyan Center for The Arts
Центр искусств Бояджян · Բոյաջյան Արվեստների Կենտրոն/ Boyajyan Center for The Arts
Boyajyan Center for the Arts, known as BAK, is a cultural venue in Yerevan that runs exhibitions, literary evenings, lectures, concerts, children's programs and mono-performances (single-actor theater pieces) centered on Armenian culture. The Boyajyan family founded it in 2019.
Within BAK is the Armenian Graphic Art Museum, built on the core of Vardges Boyajyan's family collection. The holdings include graphic works by Edgar Chahine, Jean Carzou, Jean Jansem, Felix Yeghiazaryan, Musheg Abeghyan and other 20th-century Armenian artists. BAK describes it as the only museum of its kind anywhere — a claim from the venue itself, not independently verified.
The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
BAK sits within Yerevan itself, in the city's northern part, about 1 km north of the city center (straight-line).
