Cave Church Rind

Cave Church Rind is cut into the rock itself rather than built up from stone — a full church hollowed from the western face of an outcrop on the southern slope of Gomadrunk peak, in the Karkatar range of Vayots Dzor.

No inscription or record survives to date it. Scholars presume it belongs to the Early Middle Ages, but that remains an estimate, not a documented fact.

The church lies in Vayots Dzor province, about 4 km north of Rind village, on Gomadrunk peak's southern slope in the Karkatar range — roughly 69 km southeast of Yerevan (straight-line).
