Chaghat

Чагат · Ճաղատ

Chaghat is a mountain summit in the Syunik region, rising to 1,236 meters at the southern edge of the Shinuhayr plain. It sits on the left bank of the Vorotan river, about 1 km southeast of Shinuhayr village.

There's little more on record about it beyond its position and height — a modest, unremarked point on the map rather than a landmark with its own story.

Chaghat lies in the Syunik region, near Shinuhayr village and the town of Tatev, roughly 177 km east-southeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
