CITY OF SMILE" Charitable Foundation

City of Smile Charitable Foundation is a nonprofit based in Yerevan that says it supports children with cancer and their families. According to the foundation, its work covers medical expenses, capacity building, research programs, awareness raising, and collaboration with other organizations. It also runs a pediatric palliative care clinic and a family housing program.

The foundation cites World Health Organization figures on childhood cancer recovery. In low- and middle-income countries, it says, only about 30% of children with cancer recover. In Armenia, it puts that figure at 70-75%. It operates both an Armenia and a USA branch, with a board of trustees, medical experts, and goodwill ambassadors listed on its site. Ester Demirchyan serves as director.
