Cross of Armenian Unity NGO

Cross of Armenian Unity NGO, based in Vagharshapat, organizes the Machanents international art symposium — a name shared by the symposium itself, a social enterprise, and a wine brand connected to it. This 7th edition ran October 1-7 under the theme "Man of Nature" and was dedicated to painter Apresik Aloyan.

The stated aim is to let Armenian and foreign artists meet and exchange working methods, and to add new pieces to an international art gallery collection in Vagharshapat.

The edition had backing from the Machanents House social enterprise, Arpinet LLC, the Nebula company, and Machanents Wine, with Arpi Media as information sponsor and the Armenian Artists' Union as partner.

Works made during the week were shown at a closing exhibition that opened on October 7.

The organization is based in Vagharshapat, Armavir region, roughly 18 km west of Yerevan in a straight line.
