Dashtakar

Даштакар · Դաշտաքար

Dashtakar is a cone-shaped peak of volcanic origin, rising to 1,064 meters at the southwestern base of the Aragats massif. It sits on the boundary between the Aragatsotn and Armavir regions, about 5.5 km northwest of the village of Arshaluys.

There's little more on record about it beyond its location and shape — a modest volcanic remnant on Aragats's lower slopes rather than a landmark with its own story.

Dashtakar lies in Aragatsotn region, near the town of Vagharshapat, roughly 31 km west of Yerevan as the crow flies.
