DigiTec

DigiTec is a technology event held in Yerevan, organized by the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), Armenia's tech industry association. The first edition ran in 2005, started by former UATE head Karen Vardanyan. The event includes an expo, a conference and a festival component, and the organizers say it draws participants from more than 50 countries. It runs with backing from the Armenian government and the Yerevan municipality.

UATE describes it as a gathering point for tech companies, startups and investors, aimed at linking Armenia's tech sector with markets in the US, Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East.

This is in Yerevan itself, about 3 km northwest of the city center (straight-line).
