Dilijan State Medical College was founded in 1961 in Dilijan, Tavush region, registered as a state non-profit organization for medical training.
At some point it merged with Dilijan State College. The two institutions now share a single registered name, Dilijan State Medical College (Merged with Dilijan State College), under the same non-profit status.
