Dimatsler
Димацлер · Դիմացլեռ
Dimatsler, also called Voshtapa, is a volcanic peak on the crest of the Gegham mountain range in Kotayk region. It sits west of Azhdahak. Structured records put its elevation at 3,307 m, though the Armenian Wikipedia entry gives 3,335 m — the two sources don't agree, and neither is confirmed here.
Like the rest of the Gegham range, Dimatsler is of volcanic origin. No eruption date or further geological detail is recorded.
Dimatsler is in Kotayk region, about 35 km east of Yerevan in a straight line. The village of Sevaberd lies roughly 11 km northwest of the peak, on the Gegham range's crest.
