Direct Aid Association

Direct Aid Association, founded in 1995, operates a hospital school for children being treated in Yerevan's hospitals. The program's aim is straightforward: keep sick children from falling behind in their education while they're away from their regular classrooms.

Teachers assess each child on arrival, then build an individualized program matched to that child's knowledge level and needs — useful for kids who've missed stretches of school due to chronic illness and need a catch-up plan rather than a standard curriculum. The organization reports serving 800 to 1200 children a year through this work.

Hasmik K. Tadevosyan serves as president. The office keeps regular business hours, Monday through Saturday, 9:00 to 17:00.
