Dolmama
Долмама · Դոլմամա
Dolmama is an Armenian restaurant at 10 Pushkin Street in Yerevan, open since 1998. It was started by Jirair Avanian with the goal of updating Armenian cooking rather than just repeating it — the menu mixes traditional dishes, including the restaurant's dolma (grape-leaf or vegetable rolls stuffed with meat or rice), with more modern preparations.
The restaurant seats guests in a courtyard that it says holds a grapevine around 190 years old. Beyond dolma, the kitchen serves vegetarian dishes, desserts and cocktails, and the space is set up for both lunch and dinner service, with outdoor seating when weather allows.
It's open daily from 11:00 to midnight, takes reservations, and accepts cards. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, though there's no accessible parking listed. It works for groups and for diners with children, but doesn't allow dogs.
Dolmama sits in central Yerevan, on Pushkin Street — essentially at the city's own coordinates, with no real distance to travel from elsewhere in town.
