Eagle of Vaspurakan

Eagle of Vaspurakan is a hushakotogh (a monument built to mark a person, event, or theme) shaped like an eagle and named after Vaspurakan, one of the historic Armenian provinces. It stands in Byurakan, Aragatsotn region, near the road that connects Ashtarak and Agarak.
The monument is in Aragatsotn region, near Byurakan, about 21 km northwest of Yerevan in a straight line.
