Elar is a mountain summit in Armenia's Lori marz, part of the Bovakar range. It rises to 1,905 m and sits about 4.5 km south of the village of Yeghegnut.
There's little else on record about the peak beyond its location and height — no marked trail or facility to speak of.
Elar lies in Lori marz, near the town of Dsegh, about 4.5 km south of Yeghegnut village, and roughly 76 km north of Yerevan (straight-line).
Snow cover at this elevation makes summer and early autumn the more workable seasons for reaching the summit.
