Yerevan Scientific Medical Center

Yerevan Scientific Medical Center traces back to the 8th Medical Association PJSC, the first health institution in Yerevan's Zeytun district, opened in 1957 as a combined outpatient clinic and hospital.

As the district grew, the center added buildings, departments and consulting rooms, and its medical staff expanded to keep pace with the neighborhood's population.

Today it runs clinics across several fields: cardiology (including an intensive care unit and interventional cardiology/electrophysiology service), ophthalmology (with separate units for vascular disease, trauma, glaucoma, and pediatric and low-vision care), surgery (general and laparoscopic surgery, oncosurgery, urology, gynecology, ENT, maxillofacial surgery, orthopedics and traumatology, plastic and microsurgery, vascular surgery, and a diabetic-foot service), and internal medicine (therapy, endocrinology, rheumatology, gastroenterology and hepatology, neurology, and rehabilitation).

The building has a wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking, and payment by card or contactless is accepted.

The center is in Yerevan's Zeytun district, roughly 4 km north-northeast of Yerevan in straight-line distance.
