Gabur

Gabur rises to 3,060 meters on the border between the Syunik and Vayots Dzor regions, in the northern stretch of the Zangezur mountain range. It sits east of the Vorotan pass and about 7.5 km southeast of the village of Artavan. The peak is built from paleogene-era volcanic rock.

Gabur lies on the Syunik–Vayots Dzor border, roughly 7.5 km southeast of Artavan village, and about 118 km east-southeast of Yerevan (straight-line).

At over 3,000 meters, expect snow cover for much of the year, with the terrain most accessible in summer and early autumn.
