Garnasar, also recorded as Adyaman, tops out at 2,295 meters on the western slopes of the Aragats massif. Its summit sits exactly on the line dividing Aragatsotn and Shirak regions.
The peak rises 1 kilometer north of Garnahovit village, with Sarnaghbyur village to its east.
Garnasar is in Shirak region, close to the Aragatsotn border, roughly 60 km northwest of Yerevan in a straight line.
