Gelija is a mountain summit rising about 2,396 meters in the upper reaches of the Vorotan river, within Syunik region near the town of Sisian.
There is another peak in Armenia that shares the name Gelija but stands taller — the two are not the same summit.
Gelija sits in Syunik region, near the town of Sisian, roughly 155 km east-southeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
