Gilut

Gilut rises to 2,358 meters in the Pambak mountain range, on the right bank of the upper Aghstev river. Its northern and eastern slopes carry forest cover; the rest of the mountain is open.
Close by sits the Gilut-1 peat deposit, a mineral resource marked on regional surveys rather than a stop with any visitor infrastructure. The peak lies roughly 16 kilometers southwest of Vanadzor.
Gilut sits in Lori region, about 63 km north of Yerevan in a straight line, southwest of Vanadzor.
