Gndaqar

Gndaqar is a basalt hill in Aragatsotn region carrying the remains of an Early Iron Age fortress-settlement and burial mounds. It sits near the southern foot of Mount Ara, on the left bank of the Kasakh river, about 1.5 km from the gorge and 2.5 km southeast of Ohanavan village.
Beyond the fortress and burials, the site was reused later as a watch post.
Gndaqar is in Aragatsotn region, near Ashtarak, roughly 23 km north-northwest of Yerevan in a straight line.
