Gogaran
Гогаран · Գոգարան
Gogaran is a mountain summit marking the boundary between Armenia's Lori and Shirak regions, set in the western part of the Gogaran range. It rises to 2,977 meters and sits about 5 km north of the village of Sarapat.
There's little more on record about it beyond its position and height — a border peak rather than a named landmark with its own story.
The peak lies in Shirak region, near the Lori border, roughly 98 km north-northwest of Yerevan (straight-line), 5 km north of Sarapat village.
At nearly 3,000 meters, snow cover and weather will govern access for much of the year; conditions are best judged locally rather than assumed.
