Hacharik.am

Hacharik.am (Հաճարիկ) is a Yerevan bakery brand founded in 2018 that sells bread made from hacharik, a whole grain the company uses as its main ingredient. Its bread, per the company, is made without chemical additives or preservatives.

According to the company's own account, the recipe grew out of a personal experience: a pregnancy that led to dietary changes on a doctor's advice, including folic acid and oil-rich compounds naturally present in whole grains — nutrients the company says are often stripped out during mass production. That experience led to bread made from whole, unprocessed hacharik instead.

Hacharik.am is based in Yerevan itself, roughly 3 km south-southwest of the city center (straight-line).
