Handasar
Андасар · Հանդասար
Handasar is a mountain summit in Armenia's Ararat region, sitting at the southwestern end of the Gegham range at 2,293 m. The peak is built from volcanic rock, and its slopes carry mountain-meadow vegetation rather than forest.
There's little more on record about it beyond these basics — no trail markers, huts, or named routes documented.
Handasar lies in Ararat region, roughly 34 km east-southeast of Yerevan as the crow flies, on the southwestern shoulder of the Gegham range.
As a mountain-meadow peak, the grass cover fills in through the warmer months and the summit is exposed to snow the rest of the year.
