Hayk statue

A statue of Hayk Nahapet — nahapet meaning patriarch, the legendary forefather of the Armenians — stands in Yerevan's Nor Nork district, second microdistrict, near Gai Avenue.
It wasn't always here. The sculpture originally stood near the Moskva cinema before it was moved to this spot in 1975.
The statue is located within Yerevan itself, in the Nor Nork district, ~5 km east-northeast of Yerevan (straight-line).
