HAYSATAR

HaySatar is a crowdfunding site: people post fundraising campaigns, share them on social media, and collect contributions from anyone willing to donate. Campaigns are organized by category — arts and crafts, charity and nonprofit work, clothing and fashion, drawing and photography, education and training, film and video, and others — so browsers can look for causes or creators that interest them.

Project creators set a goal amount to work toward. The platform states that if a campaign reaches its goal, HaySatar adds a bonus donation equal to 5% of that amount. Separately, it offers sellers a way to take pre-orders for goods and services as a method of funding a business directly, without going through a lender or investor.

The site can be reached through haysatar.com.
