Staff of the Governor of Aragatsotn Region, RA

The Staff of the Governor of Aragatsotn Region (marzpetaran, provincial governor's office) is the administrative body for Aragatsotn marz (region), based in Ashtarak. Sergey Movsisyan serves as marzpet, the regional governor.

The office's website describes a wide administrative remit rather than public-facing services: it covers the regional budget and procurement, the workings of the marzkhorhurd (regional council) and its permanent commissions, and internal document flow and reporting. Alongside this it publishes material aimed at communities and builders — guidance on national minorities, staff conduct rules, and catalogs of energy-efficient housing designs for use in Aragatsotn's towns and villages.

A public information unit within the office handles statements, interviews and press accreditation on behalf of the marzpetaran.

The office sits in Ashtarak, Aragatsotn region, about 18 km northwest of Yerevan in a straight line.
