EPMIB

EPMIB (the Republic of Armenia's Environmental Protection and Mineral Resources Inspection Body) is a state agency headquartered in Yerevan. It inspects compliance with environmental and subsoil-use rules and publishes the legal and administrative record of that work.

On its own site, the body lists inspection checklists and inspection programs, budget and structure documents, reports on completed and ongoing projects, and records of international cooperation. It also runs a public-facing side: a hotline (119), a freedom-of-information request channel, a citizens' reception process, and a whistleblower reporting window, alongside guidance on how it handles personal data.

Hovhannes Martirosyan serves as Manager; an August 28, 2026 notice on the site records his reappointment to the post. A separate item from August 21, 2026 notes a discussion at the body on environmental programs for Vayots Dzor ahead of the COP17 conference.

EPMIB is located in Yerevan, roughly 1 km northeast of the city center (straight-line).
