ICH Armenia is a government-run database documenting Armenia's intangible cultural heritage — the practices, skills, and traditions passed down outside museums and archives. The site organizes its material by domain: language, folklore, music, dance, holidays and festivals, belief and worship, subsistence culture, and folk life.
A large part of the catalog covers craftwork: felting, carpet and kilim weaving, embroidery, lace (including gobelin-style lace), khachkar (carved cross-stone) carving, blacksmithing, decorative metalwork, woodwork, and pottery. It also profiles individual folk masters and lists craft festivals named for Gyumri, Dilijan, Areni, Gavar, and Meghri.
The registry can be browsed by category on its main website.
This is a Yerevan-based office, ~2 km northeast of Yerevan (straight-line).
