Horom Citadel

Horom Citadel is a fortification built and used from the Bronze Age through the Urartian period, standing on two hills south of the main road, opposite the dam and Kamut Reservoir.
Nearby, at Ghak and Shvaghtapa, stand two more Urartian cyclopean forts — built from massive unworked stones fitted without mortar.
Horom Citadel is in Shirak province, about 1 km east of Horrom village, roughly 74 km northwest of Yerevan (straight-line).
