Hors Lake

Hors Lake is an artificial lake set in the Karkatar mountains of Vayots Dzor region, its surface sitting at 2,090 meters above sea level. It lies 2 kilometers southwest of Hors village, the settlement that gives the lake its name.

There's little more on record about it beyond its location and elevation — a small reservoir tucked into the highland terrain of this part of the marz.

The lake sits in Vayots Dzor region, near the town of Yeghegnadzor, about 71 km east-southeast of Yerevan in a straight line, with Hors village 2 km to its northeast.
