House-Museum of Avetik Isahakyan
дом-музей Аветика Исаакяна · Ավետիք Իսահակյանի տուն-թանգարան
The House-Museum of Avetik Isahakyan occupies the house on Zarobyan Street, a lane running parallel to Baghramyan Avenue, where the poet lived out the final ten years of his life. After his death, the Council of Ministers of the Armenian SSR ordered on March 1, 1958 that the house be turned into a museum in his memory. It opened to visitors on October 31, 1963.
The museum keeps rooms tied directly to Isahakyan's daily life and work, including his study and desk, along with his manuscripts and personal effects. Its stated aim is to hold onto these objects and pass them on to later generations rather than simply display them.
It's open Tuesday to Saturday, 10:30 to 17:00.
The museum sits in Yerevan itself, on Zarobyan Street parallel to Baghramyan Avenue — about 1 km north of the city center in straight-line terms.
