Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum

The Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum opened in 1953 in Yerevan, dedicated to the poet and writer Hovhannes Tumanyan.
Renovation work on its usual building at Moskovyan 40 has moved the museum, for now, into the Hrant Matevosyan cultural center. The exhibition there is spread across two floors. The ground floor, called "Tumanyan the Reader," shows his bookshelves along with pieces from his Tiflis apartment.
The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:30 to 16:30.
The museum is in Yerevan, about 2 km northeast of the city center (straight-line).
